Every Sunday, for as long as I can remember, he would get up and put this in the oven for our breakfast. We would scoop out a piece, pour milk over it in a bowl, and eat it like cereal. Delicious!

Warm for Sunday morning, and then the leftovers were just as good cold on Monday.

French toast is one of my favorite weekend breakfasts. I love that it is simple and quick to whip up, it keeps the kids full ‘til lunch (no scrounging for snacks when you need to be picking up), and it feeds them a wholesome meal without reaching for the cereal 🙂

My girls ask for ice cream all the time, but when it looks almost the same going in as it does during the diaper change later, I hate to feed it to them! It doesn’t seem to even digest on the way through!

Then I discovered homemade ice cream. Real milk, real cream, and nothing I can’t pronounce!

There’s nothing like a snow day for a little baking!

Bekah got up this morning and yelled, “No (snow), Mommy! ‘No!” We quickly agreed that today we should make cinnamon rolls 🙂

I love this no-rise recipe! So much easier to mix up the dough, roll it out, and pop it into the oven.
